Superior Product January 21, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Once I got used to the weight of this board, it has become my "go to" cutting board. Construction is top of the line, no warping or splitting, cleans up in a snap. The fact that it is a beautiful Piece of equipment doesn't hurt either. I bought the "two fer" and all above applies to the smaller cutting board.
Great Cutting board January 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this and liked it so well, we purchased another one for a gift. The size is good, and the weight of the board is "just right". Highly recommend.
Outstanding September 1, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
These cutting boards have sold me on bamboo. The board is hard enough to get crisp cuts on herbs and the reduced cut marks don't catch food particles. Plus they really add a rich look to the kitchen. Many people immediately start asking about them when they walk into the kitchen.
otally Bamboo Kona Groove Cutting Board August 29, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
It is a solid board. We have been using it for more than 2 months. So far there is no any crack on it.We like it very much and strongly recommend it.
Excellent bamboo board, holds up great. July 26, 2007 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
Been using PVC plastic boards, upgraded to this bamboo board so hot stuff doesn't burn the board when it's just off the stove.
Holds up great even with super sharp Shun Blades. Very easy to clean. It is kinda heavy, good part is it won't move around when you are working on it. Bad part is you can't just pickup the board with 1 hand to clean the bottom.
Minor issue: Keep the bottom dry, otherwise it'll make a wet wood smell. Kinda nasty. If it happens, stand it against the window and let it dry under the sun. It'll get rid of the smell.
