Most awesome kitchen tool since the invention of the spoon! March 17, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had a Braun Multiquick that I used for 6 years. I loved that thing, and at $20 or so I gave at least 10 of them as very welcome gifts to my friends. Made salad dressing and smoothies, chopped herbs, garlic, blended soup in the pot, made gravy, whatever. I used it EVERY SINGLE DAY! Well, the Multiquick finally gave up the ghost, and I found a new Kitchenaid Immersion Blender on Craigslist for an unbeatable price - let's just say that in LA, your appliances are bigger stars than you'll ever be - and WOW, what a difference! What a powerful machine! It is to the Multiquick as a Mercedes is to a Ford Fiesta. For one thing, the whisk attachment is as good if not better than a hand-held mixer. The Multiquick's whisk attachment was a toy. I LOVE ME SOME KITCHENAID IMMERSION BLENDER!
Excellant product for the $$ March 9, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have a KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer and I love it. It is my favorite appliance! However, it isn't right for every job. Now keep in mind I view things differently than most because I am in the beginning stages of Rheumatoid Arthitis and at this time I have lost the strength in my hands and I am always in pain. So comfort, ease, and grip are highly important to me. This product is great, has all the bells and whistles and the price was right. I wish it was cordless. I thought it was as the picture makes it appear so, but it doesn't say so, so my fault. I have never been disappointed by a KitchenAid product.

I've been using this blender for a few weeks and I absolutely love it. It's small enough that it easily slips into a drawer with my other cooking utensils, doesn't require a lot of counter space, and has enough power to handle everyday mixing tasks. I also really like that it came with its own bag allowing me to store the mixer on a ceiling or wall rack.
little powerhouse March 3, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have enjoyed using my hand blender. The blender attachment purees very quickly. The whisk does a fine job and it only takes a few seconds to whip up eggs. I can use the low speed for a lot of things. The 9 speeds are not necessary but do give anyone who wants a choice. I like the size of the chopper bowl which is larger than the old Braun hand blender I had. This unit is much more solid and sturdy compared to the Braun. The storage bag for all the attachments is also nice to have. I don't have to search all through my cabinet for the parts for this hand blender. I do not have any trouble with the size of this blender either even with my small hands. If you want a good solid hand blender that will last for a long time, get this one. In fact, get anything Kitchenaid.
