Product Description Operating at the lowest RPMs of any pulp ejection-type juicer, the L'Equip Model 221 makes juice that is virtually free from the foam created at high speeds.
Amazon.com Review Capable of continuous operation, this appliance extracts juice from fruits and vegetables and then ejects pulp either into its pulp basket, or, for juice-bar quantities, into a garbage bag that can be secured to the extractor with a special holder. The extractor's 480-watt motor is computer controlled for precise operation, and the appliance stands on big rubber feet to reduce vibration and protect the counter's surface. Easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, the extractor comes with a bowl, basket, and blade that are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher-safe. Its plastic exterior, pulp basket, plunger, and cover wipe clean with a soapy cloth. The extractor measurers 12-1/2 inches high, 9 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, including spout and cover. It carries a 12-warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Utilitarian but not durable March 10, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is not a heavy duty, commercial juicer. With less than 20 uses, I have already fried the motor (juicing apples) and stripped the plastic bolt that the blade rests on, juicing a mango. I have tried to contact lequip numerous times to exercise my warranty, but I have never heard back from them. I can not recommend this product.
Beware the L'EQUIP 221 September 10, 2004 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I purchased this model in March 04. It vibrated badly upon arrival, and it took months to get a replacement. Then the replacement juicer vibrated badly, so I contacted the manufacturer, L'EQUIP. L'EQUIP forces you to pay to ship the juicer back to them to fix their problems, and you have to send a check for $10.00 to cover their "service fee". I recently recieved the juicer back unfixed, and vibrating badly. The company is still stalling, unwilling to correct this situation. Their warranty, and service are worthless.
less foam more filling July 16, 2004 I have owned all the juicers this is the one to own and think it is imperative for people to understand this juicer was truly designed for the hardcore juicer because if you have a very fast juicer it can deplete the nutrients you are tryng to achieve with your commitment to live foods you waste money on foamy juice the 221 sacrificed some efficency in order to give you the ideal glass of live food. so if your life is based on convience you might as well get your really efficient high speed bottle of snapple
breaks easily - warranty is worth less than paper printed on December 17, 2003 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought the L'Equip juicer because they are known for the quality. I was willing to spend more because they supposedly had this great Warranty. After just 3 uses, the housing cracked on my machine. I called the company and told them of the situation. They told me to ship it to them. I came to find that the warranty does not cover cracked parts. I now have a $200 juicer that can not be used with a worthless warranty. Look to other names willing to stand behind there products
Soooo disappointed!!!!! December 14, 2003 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I wish I had listened to E.Buhkman of Ohio's review, instead I went with the others. I have owned at least four other brands of juicers, for the money this is probably the worst. It produces very little juice and it stopped the second time I used it, while only juicing carrots and cabbage. I was really looking forward to the extra large chute(BAA HUM BUG!!!) it is only slightly larger than the Juiceman juicer. I had to clean it after two carrots to get it to start again. When I pushed the on button it hummed and gradually started again, only to give little juice,I found the rest of the juice when I squeezed the pulp. It was medium as far as sound. The basket takes a little extra to remove. I gave it two stars because it looks cute. If you still want to purchase one of these, I'll gladly sell mine.
