Great product, but a monster on the countertop July 13, 2010 gerbera628 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did a lot of research before buying and chose this model thinking my family will grow into it. The big sell to me was the 3rd bowl.
It has been primarily used for baby food purees so far, but also some peanut butter and shredding. I'll admit, I had some buyer's remorse almost immediately when I put it on my counter and still had to find a place for the box of blades. It just fits under the cupboard but needs to be pulled to the edge of the counter for use. The retractable cord is a very nice feature. I like to be able to use the different size bowls, but I always have to plan the order of my work in batches smallest to largest. The seal between the bowls is pretty good, but I have always had to wash all the bowls when I only used the top 4-cup bowl as liquid always seems to drip down the sides.
I'm hoping this family grows into this machine more. I know now that I should have just gotten one of the 2 bowl models.
Best on the market June 27, 2010 Susan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Of all the products like this, this one is the best. It is extremely solid and well-constructed. The three bowls are so practical and it does an amazing job in the blink of an eye. The video is excellent and after watching it, anyone can use the processor. It has really made life easier. Buy it!
Everything the wife wanted in a food processor June 25, 2010 B. Horne 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The wife has wanted a food processor for years and when I gave her this top of the line food processor, she was excited. Now that she has used it a number of times, she likes it even more than when she first took it out of the box. And I like it a lot because the wife loves to cook and I love to eat! On a product and mechanical basis, I was impressed with the instruction book and video that accompanied the food processor. For a novice such as me and my wife, it was indispensable. And the product is everything we expected it to be from the reviews we read on the Internet. We are not disappointed in any way with the food processor and would recommend it to others.
Wonderful piece of equipment June 24, 2010 David Brearley (Naperville, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Cuisinart Elite food processor is easy to use, very fast, and easy to clean up. We have yet to use the small bowl, but otherwise, have been quite pleased with all of its capabilities.
Best price anywhere June 16, 2010 W C S 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Couldn't find a better price anywhere bought a less powerful less expensive Food Network model at Kohls, there's no way any of those chefs use that one and neither do we. Not that we are chefs but it just wasn't powerful enough. The Cuisinart has plenty of power, quiet and great recipe book to boot. Great service and shipping from amazon as usual!
