Ninja July 24, 2010 guido joseph bilstein (Surfside, FL, US) Machine works great, but be careful when inserting the top (motor housing). Make sure that the gears mesh well with the spindle otherwise you will wear out the plastic gear on the spindle and the blades won't turn. I made this mistake once but Ninja's customer service was great and they sent me replacement blades/spindle for free, no questions asked. The spindle should be made of tougher plastic or metal.
Great purchase July 22, 2010 cw I bought this for my husband who uses it for a number of things, one of which is chopping frozen candy. Works amazingly well!! Very sharp blade BE CAREFUL learned the hard way :0)
AWESOME!!! July 19, 2010 T. Mccall (Folsom CA) I love this blender!! Bought at Target $39.95 on sale, wasn't sure about the motor on top. It sold me after first use. Makes it so easy to clean, no trying to get around blades just remove. I pack the blender with blade in, carrots, celery tops, fresh lettuce, spinage, apples w/rind, frozen berries, banana, little almond milk, cucumber w/rind, grapes etc. I didn't have any problems making this whole foods smoothie. I use 2x a day+, so far so great! I really wanted a vita-mix but couldn't afford! This is much quieter and gets the job done. I highly recommend!!

Purchased this product from As-Seen-on-TV site. Bought additional containers at the same time for a total of nearly $60 dollars. I thought it was really great until the drive connector on the bottom of the power head stripped out. I have searched and searched for a replacement part with little luck. The connector is attached with one screw to the power head and would be easy to replace if the part was available. This part is a single point of failure by any standard and should be available to the consumer but here I sit with a cabinet full of chopper/blender containers I can't use for anything but storage. If mistaken, PLEASE CONTACT ME email "[...]"
Awesome addition to our kitchen!!! July 16, 2010 wendyl This little gadget is something else. We used it to puree nearly 75 pounds of blanched tomatoes to make spaghetti sauce and it did the job of my "old and big" food processor in less than half the time and even less of a mess. We have also used it to make pesto and it turns the basil into a paste quick!! We have also used it to make banana and peach smoothies this summer and I am glad for once I actually bought something that was "As seen on TV"! This little Ninja really provides a powerful kick to our kitchen.
