 leaking after 45 days of daily use October 14, 2008
I was happy for as long as it was working for a month and a half. What was so funny about it is that I was going to buy another one for MOM yesterday but while boiling water for tea, the pot was leaking. That was the end of my once loved kettle. No wonder it is a discontinued product!
Worth the price May 14, 2008
We just received this kettle and as promised it has concealed heating plating about which is one thing I was most concerned about. I didn't want something which has coils inside and which rusts or smells if water is left over inside.
Size is big, still it is light weight and easy to carry when travelling and can boil lots of water at one time.I wish the wiring was longer so even if the plug point is far away it can be used without making any adjustments.
Kettle is cordless so can be taken anywhere without carrying the whole unit when need to pour.
Though I am satisfied with the kettle, I am not so happy with the delivery, mainly cause it was not done in time.Shipping was done 6 days after the buying day and delivered in another 7 days.Because of the delay I couldn't take it to my trip for which I actually bought this kettle.
Nevertheless, If you are in no hurry to get delivery, and looking for something useful in decent prices, this is the product you wanna buy.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is an attractive, lightweight pot that boils water and then shuts off. Since there is no wire attached to the pot, you can bring it to the table and pour. I especially like the out-turn-off feature.
