West Bend 12" Electric Skillet July 27, 2008 West Bend 72202 12-Inch Electric Skillet with Glass Cover, BlackI purchased this skillet because it was top rated. Amazon had the best price.
West Bend electric skillet August 19, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased one like this from WalMart. Apparently the one I got was defective because it overheated - didn't shut off when it reached temperature. It actually melted the end of a spatula! I took it back and I'm going to try a different brand - leery of getting another West Bend.
looks like a sink in the picture April 11, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought a West Bend skillet in Walmart which answers to this description exactly for $19-95. It is the best thing I have ever bought and am desperately trying to find one to use in UK. Different electrics. This has got to be THE most useful piece of kitchen equipment ever. Never has fish tasted so good !!!!! I even make eggbeater scrambled eggs in it and they are perfect. I am going to buy a couple of extras so that I will never ever be without it.
Not a sink April 2, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is not a sink like you see in the picture. It is actually an electric skillet. Heats well, great compact size and super easy to clean. Non-stick surface is really non-stick. Immersible. The dial is a little awkward, but I am still happy with my selection over other options. I use it for everything, rinse it and put it back on the counter for the next meal.
Disappointed not made in USA as advertised. February 23, 2007 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
This may or may not be a good product. I was looking for a new Electric skillet and my ONLY reason for choosing this particular one was that the Amazon web page described it as "Made in USA". When I received it and found out it was made in China I returned it unused.
