 Product quit working November 9, 2008
I bought this as a birthday present for my mother. 60.00 for a coffee maker is a luxury. After 12 months it quit working. I would NOT buy this product.
 Love this percolator October 20, 2008
We already had one and wanted another for when we need to make more coffee. Makes the best coffee. Better than drip cofffemakers. Use it at home, outside, on the boat. Never had a problem. We do use paper filters. Also, nothing to break and replacement parts are available if anything gets damaged. Was tired of always replacing carafes on drip coffeemakers. Doubt if we will ever go back to drip.

Were happy with its quiet and fast production of coffee. the only thing i would like to change is to have it a little hoter, when it's done.

This product worked for two weeks then quite percolating the coffee...only would stream hot water...sent it back after two weeks of use...very disappointed with product and performance...surprising due to Cuisinart's reputation...perhaps just a defective one....amazon was great in regards to refunding total cost.....

What can I say. Have this product for less then a week and have not had a true cup of coffee. Sad to say Mr Coffee, which last about 6 months before I have to buy a new one makes much better coffee with less grounds. On the upside it is a beautiful pot to look at, shines great. Makes a great conversation peice. Maybe it was nostalgia from the 50's at Grandma's that made me think percolator coffee was great. I have a burr grinder and have tried several different grinds. If anyone has the secret to making a great cup of coffee from this pot, pray tell. I really would like to use it. I give it 4 stars for its beauty and 2 for the coffee. Ya, if you can divide it is 3.
