Braun's AromaDeluxe is a no-nonsense, easy-to-use coffeemaker for those who still prefer a basic cup of coffee. The coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups using a fast brewing method that thoroughly extracts the rich flavor and aroma from your ground coffee. The integrated Brita water filter also contributes to better-tasting coffee by screening out chlorine and other harsh minerals, plus it prevents calcification within the water tank. A marker on the top of the water tank helps you keep track of when the water filter needs to be changed. Other handy extras on the AromaDeluxe include a filter release button, which swings the detachable filter basket open for filling or easy cleaning, and a pause-and-serve feature, which stops the brewing while you pour a cup of coffee midway through a cycle. For safety, the glass carafe has a comfortable, nonslip handle with an open design to accommodate larger hands.  A few drawbacks September 7, 2008
I think I wish I had spent a little more money on a new coffee pot; didn't pay enough attention to features. This pot does not turn off automatically; the light stays red, does not turn green as others do after brewing. And as you're filling reservoir, the water drips quite a bit unless you hold the pot just so.
Coffee itself is very good.
Just what I needed September 4, 2008
I wanted a coffeemaker with an on/off switch, that used cone filters and didn't cost over $50. This is just about the only one available and it's fine. The carafe doesn't pour well; coffee always escapes the spout when you pour a cup of coffee. That happened on our old Braun, so we were used to it.

I ordered this product on 8-06-08. I can't really rate the quality of this item because I will not recieve it until 8-18-08. Do not buy from this seller. They can't even ship things on time. The package finally shipped on 8-13-08 and should arrive three days after the guarantied delivery date of 8-15-08.
