For chefs who only serve a roast several times a year or on holidays, this two-piece carving set is an economical investment. The set consists of a curved meat fork and an 8-inch slicer, both made entirely of stainless steel and sporting elegant European-style handles. The attractive price on this set is owed to the knife blade being stamped rather than forged and the handles of both pieces being hollow. However, the stain- and rust-resistant knife blade is hand honed to achieve the precise cutting edge that Henckels knives are known for. This was an excellent buy which I would recommend to my friends. I really appreciated how fast the stainless steel carving set was shipped as I needed it for a wedding present. I would not hesitate to buy from this company and Amazon again.
