Good product; easy to use November 2, 2008
I bought another, thicker and larger bamboo cutting board at the same time and I use it more, but this one is very handy to grab and take to my stove area to chop things quickly. It is lightweight, but not at all fragile. The bamboo is much better than regular cutting boards, and I love that they are a quickly renewable resource. The bamboo doesn't seem to soak up liquid the way regular cutting boards do, and it looks a lot better. I love chopping on these bamboo cutting boards. They don't get splits from my knives, and the surface is much more dense and less porous! Everyone who has seen them in my kitchen loves the way they look and asks where I got them. The only thing I would say about this, is pay attention to the measurements of this one, as it is definitely smaller than my other board.
