This is a very nice cutting board, attractive, heavy dense wood. May slide around on you if you're cutting something big, I use a rubber shelf liner underneath to prevent sliding. I'd recommend this cutting board.

I bought this cutting board last year. The more I used it, the more it began to smell bad. I had oiled it carefully before use and when the odor began, I tried bleaching it, sanding it, scraping it...nothing worked. I finally had to throw it out. It is a beautiful board and if you can figure out how to keep it clean, you may like it, but I am now using a wood fiber laminate board and I like it much better.

This end grain Bamboo cutting board, was for me, a good size and has a good weight for general purpose cutting and aggressive chopping. The surface on both sides was perfectly smooth with good workmanship. I have been using it for awhile now and it is still smooth and in good shape. I read recently that bamboo has natural anti-microbial properties according to Cooks Illustrated Jan Feb 08 issue. So far my Totally Bamboo purchases have been money well spent!!!

I was pleasantly surprised. The craftmanship of this board is better than I thought it would be. I was skeptical about the "harder than maple" claim, but we've used it a lot and it still looks brand new. It's definitely a cut above our maple board.
It looks as good as the picture, but the colors are a little more muted. It measures 12" x 15" x 1.44" and weighs in at about 6.6 lbs.
Nice quality board. I highly recommend it.
