These non-traditional cutting boards have a heck of a lot going for them. Unlike glass they will not dull your cutlery, unlike wood they will not absorb odors or bacteria. They're durable, dishwasher and oven safe, you can even use them as warming trays in the microwave. The upturned rims prevent spills and overflows onto your counter and they even have a measuring guide, so you can be as precise as possible when it matters.

These prep boards are great for preparing meals - the juices don't run off onto the counter, and the boards go into the dishwasher. However, we use the rectangular ones for trays for the dishes of cat food - no more scrubbing floors daily - they catch the mess.

These are my favorite cutting boards because they are sturdy, have a slight lip to catch liquids from what you are cutting, and are easy to throw into the dishwasher. They also are nice serving boards, when needed. I've tried lots of others and always go back to these boards.

I agree with all the other high star ratings for this prep board set....I love them. So, I'm writing this review for those who are interested in the dimensions of each of these boards. They were not given in the product description, so I took a chance and ordered the set. The round board is 12 inches in diameter. The square board is 11" x 11". And the rectangular board is 9 1/2" x 15". The boards have a textured surface, and have 4 round 1/2 inch convex circles on the underside of the board, to raise the board slightly off of the counter top. I have a Progressive International Silicone red 12 Inch Diameter Microwave Mat, that I keep on my counter top, that will prevent any of these boards from slipping around.

These are light boards suitable for tea sandwich, fresh tomato & cucumber salad, and similar prep. They are very nice for otherwise messey informal food. Like do it your self tacos, fresh roast chicken and rolls etc. The raised edge catches a fair amount of juice etc. and they clean up easily.
These are NOT a heavy duty (or even medium duty) cutting board so if you want to carve a crown rib or break down a leg of lamb get something else.
The one draw back is that they slide on some counter tops (formica and engineered stone) that is solved by getting some of the stick on rubber feet.

These trays are great for food preparation, but do scratch if you are intending to use them for a cutting board. They also will melt if you expose them to high heat.
