Snow River's sturdy hardwood cutting board is excellent for large cutting and carving jobs. The drip trough at the edge extends to a ring in the middle of the board, insuring that whatever is being cut won't get soggy from its own juices. Ideal for carving roasts, this board is also good for chopping up juicy tomatoes. Hand washing with mild detergent and occasional oiling with mineral oil is recommended for a long life, and the stainless-steel gripper ring set into the back of the cutting board makes it easy to carry. --Julija Gelazis

Cracked in multiple spots within 3 months February 23, 2008
Despite careful cleaning and drying, the board began to delaminate where it was glued together. A carving board that leaks juices all over the table is, well, unusable.
