We are coffee connoisseurs, (in our minds, at least!)Having used many types of coffee makers, we have been delighted with this model. I read the reviews before buying it, but it was on such a great sale , $29.99, that I had to try it. I will reiterate that it is imperative to run water/white vinegar, through maybe, 5 or so cycles, before you attempt to drink it, lest you get a horrible plasticky/oily-parts taste. After that, it has been amazing. I love the auto shut-off. I love the programmable feature, easy to clean, and NO DRIPPING! We love it!

GREAT TASTING (NON) POT OF COFFE, ONLY CON IS YOU HAVE TO GET USE TO ADDING WATER AND MEASUREMENTS, ONCE YOU ACCOMPLISH THAT (WHICH IS JUST NEW AND DIFFERENT) YOU WILL LOVE IT, KEEPS COFFE HOT BUT DOES NOT BURN IT!
RECOMMEND!

My Brewmaster makes great coffee and we enjoyed it for three months but is now a total nuisance to use. It turns off automatically after one cup. You have to keep hitting the "on" button again and you can imagine how frustrating that is. Customer service said it was out of warranty.
I wouldn't buy another Hamilton Beach product.

This drip coffeemaker is excellent. No pot to wash or burn the coffee. Just put your cup underneath and the coffee pours out.
The only disadvantage is that the internal tank and coffee basket holder are not dishwasher safe (or so the disclaimer says) They are easy to clean, but still...
My 2nd Hamilton Beach Brew Station September 20, 2008
My first HB Brew Station was one of the originals and I liked it a lot. When it stopped pumping recently I decided to purchase another one. Because products are constantly being "improved" I was not able to purchase same model. This model is fine. It performs well and makes a great cup of coffee. I think the foot print is larger, I know the water basket is, it is more difficult to handle. I do not like the clear visible water gauge on this model. I fill it with water to measure and pour into water reservoir, when it fills back up with coffee it is difficult to determine where the coffee level is, especially after dispensing a cup(s). Other than these minor inconveniences, I like the Brew station fine and will probably purchase another one when the time comes.
