| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description In both durability and durability, Swiss Diamond's innovative diamond reinforced non-stick cooking surface is superior to all other non-stick surfaces , even after the most abusive use. Rather than layered on, this non-stick composite gets fused to the pan, as with most other non-stick surfaces. The 10 inch fry pan is for everything from French toast to fajitas, ideal for just about any frying chore. It provides outstanding heat distribution being made from hand-cast aluminum that is 6 mm thick, and since diamonds conduct heat the coating contributes to the pans' performance. Oven safe up to 500 degrees F Perfectly flat base for use on all ceramic, gas and electric cook tops Utensil and dishwasher safe

nonstick February 8, 2008 I have had this product for about two months, and I really like it, works as advertised, highly recommend it.
These are Teflon coated (beware) January 29, 2008 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
The manufacturer uses PTFE to coat these pans. That is the chemical name for Teflon! Teflon is a Dupont brand name for PTFE. If you don't buy your PTFE from Dupont, it's technically not "Teflon" but it is exactly the same chemical.
So, if you don't to want breath the fumes emitted by Teflon (or PTFE, same thing) then don't get these pans. The U.S. EPA is currently studying the toxicity of PTFE (Teflon), but it has already been shown in the few existing studies to produce hazardous fumes.
Swiss Diamond is engaging in deceptive advertising by withholding the fact that their pans are teflon (PTFE) like all other non-stick pans.
Great Little Frying Pan October 27, 2007 This is just an awesome little pan. When it arrived in the mail my daughter was visiting and thought it was a fantastic size and shape and I love the fact that its a Swiss Diamond, totally tough and easy to clean. Well, after she left I sent for another one, Christmas is right around the corner and she'll love it too.
Non stick pans September 17, 2007 Best pans I've ever had, burnt cheese, onions, peppers, eggs nothing sticks. A squirt with kitchen spray blows almost everything out of the pan. Easy to clean. Even heat when cooking. Use lower flame to cook. Used them for a year and no complaints.
8" frying pan August 11, 2007 This is the first and last frying pan I will ever need to buy. Nothing sticks to it. No more scrubbing ever. And life time garanty.
