This is the only model that holds it seal & does not crack. Very pleased.

We used this contianer to try and keep strawberries longer than when stored in zip lock bags. It did keep them 3-4 days longer. The caveat is that at the end of the third day they started to go bad. We have not tried to us it with other foods as yet. Strawberries are generally the most perishable of fruits. Freezing was not an option we considered.

This canister is easy to use especially if you own a FoodSaver with the canister button feature which I own and love. I have used this canister for leftovers or food that I can prepare ahead of time to keep fresh for later use. These canisters are not just for the refrigerator but for many other uses which I haven't tried yet but I know I will when the time comes. They are flat and don't take up much space in the refrigerator.

Like most Tilia Foodsaver cannisters, very handy. Reduce waste and flavour your items at the same time. Mostly it forgives me for when I don't pay attention to my refrigerator contents and then rediscover it, and it's still usable.

Works great! I use it to marinate meats and veggies. About 20 minutes after you seal it; your food is ready to grill.
