Use this Wolfgang Puck 1200-Watt Panini Duet to prepare authentic Italian paninis and Cuban sandwiches as well as to grill poultry, fish, sausages and many other foods. The dishwasher-safe, removable grill plates are big enough for one or two people or families on the go.What is Refurbished? When a product is refurbished, it is made to look like and operate as a brand new item should. Many times it is as simple as the box being opened by mistake or for quality checks. Once the box has been opened, that item cannot be sold as new. Items with serious malfunctions are not refurbished, it would cost too much to refurbish them to 'like new' condition. Each refurbished item we feature is completely inspected, rerun down the production line and triple checked for quality before being packed and shipped. Most of the time the only difference between new and refurbished is the brown box and the lower price, which is your gain as an educated consumer.

I purchased this refurbished Panini maker and I absolutely love it! One of the main reasons I like it is because the grill detaches and I can stick it in the dish washer. It makes for an easy clean up. You just make it and stick it on there. I can make two smaller pananies at the same time and be done with supper in 10 minutes or less. It was a smart purchase for my family.

I got this unit re-furbished. It heats up quickly and makes paninis in only a couple of minutes. I got it with the waffle plate set, but I have not used them yet. I am not expecting any problems with those based on the performance of the grill plates.
It will hold 2 sandwiches made from regular loaf bread or one from the larger size loafs.
The top plate was a little loose and would not lock in place as tightly as it should, but after removing the attachment hook on the back of the top plate (one small philips head screw) and bending it slightly with some pliers, it now is securly attached until your push the release button.
