Presto 02910 SaladShooter Electric Slicer/Shredder When my old salad shooter quit working right in the middle of dinner, I was worried that I'd never find another one. It's one of the greatest inventions ever made. It makes quick work of shredding potatoes, carrots & other vegetables. I looked in a few stores and couldn't find one. I was so delighted to find several at amazon.com. They never let me down.

About 10 years ago, our grater broke late in the evening, and the closest thing open was our little hardware store. We had people coming over and needed to have cole slaw made for a party. The had expensive replacement graters, and for a bit more this Salad shooter unit. We thought, what the heck. This was such a time saver, and a great addition to the kitchen. nice even chopped/grated/sliced carrots or cabbage or potatoes, what ever you are chopping. Worth the 20 bucks or so, and likely a good gift as well. Try it, you'll like it.

I am replacing my salad shooter that I had for over 16 years...just the other day....the motor finally went. This is by far the easiest & most used kitchen gadget appliance in my house. Slicing & shredding couldn't be easier. The pieces pop into the dishwasher. No difficult instuctions, a no brainer. Until it arrives...I need to drag out my food processor to make some zucchini/carrot bread. I hate that dinosaur...plus I find the contraption scarey!!! I may have to rush that delivery!! Over the years I have given it as gifts with rave reviews. Not sure if they are sold in any stores, because I've been looking. Quick, order one....what are you waiting for????
