This thing is HORRIBLE!!!! I cant cut cheese! Cant cut Veggies, I cant even cut bologna !!!!
NO POWER!!! UnEven cuts and just completely useless!!!!!
I am a chef for 15years and realize what a slicer should do...and I am not excpecting it to act like a professional grade, But come on bologna?!!! PLEASE DONT BUY!!!!!!!!

This is a good deal. The slicer handles meats and cheeses well. Bread is difficult.
 Useful but Flawed May 15, 2008
While I am generally satisfied with the slicer's performance I have two criticisms: first, that the slider is limited to a fairly thick final slice and second that slices, especially thin slices, tend to stick to the back of the slicer. I would prefer that slices be completely separated from the machine.

The slicer was all it was cracked up to be and more -- efficient, easy to operate, and easy to clean. The shipping was quick and the packaging perfect. It's a pleasure doing business with Amazon and its suppliers.

Only have had for a week sliced some deer up for jerky worked great on slightly frozen meat(makes i easier to slice that way). easy to clean up. Watch the blade when cleaning is very sharp a fillet glove would be a good idea for the hand that handles it and holds the meat. Only thing is the motor could use a little more power it got slightly warm cutting up 8 lbs of meat 1/4" wide for my jerky. I would recommend it for anyone. Have about 40 lbs of deer left to do any problems with it i will post them.
