Product Description Canon has poured all the Know How of its extraordinary history of developing innovative office machines into each of its copiers, printers, and networked office systems. The same superiority of design and manufacture goes into all of the Canon-branded consumable imaging supplies and parts for this equipment. Naturally, no one makes better parts and supplies for Canon products than Canon. Using genuine Canon parts and supplies is your best insurance against equipment damage, and possibly voiding your equipment warranty.

Great package for a great price December 24, 2008 Have been using canon ink for a long time, it's preferred for photo printing. The price and service was outstanding.
If you value your sanity... December 22, 2008 I tried to save $$ buying refilled inks from 123 Inkjets and Pacific Inks and it did very fine for a while, until they both started to slack big time in the quality of their ink tanks. They wouldn't click into the bays and therefore would be loose which in turn would prevent ink from going through the tubes. I finally had to break down and get Canon's own inks again, BUT at least here at Amazon the price was decent for one set (normally in the stores it would be $104).
NEVER use the two aformentioned ink sites if you value your Canon printer. Because of them, mine almost went into the garbage...
Excellent product December 16, 2008 I will only purchase name brand ink for my printer as it produces the best quality print. Canon produced a good product when they made these cartridges!
using genuine inks November 11, 2008 i've used a variety of compatible inks for my canon 19900 printer, and i've had nothing but trouble with compatibles. despite the high cost of canon genuine inks, which i resent, i went back to them and the problems disappeared.
8-pack is good when I need 'em all October 28, 2008 Canon Inks are excellent. I make a lot of gallery quality prints and the Canon Inks are splendid in my good Canon printer. When I need the entire range of inks this is the most cost effective for me.
However, the packaging is a nightmare to get through. I have mixed feelings every time a supply of inks arrives as I know it will be a long time before I slice/slash through the plastic wraps to get at the product I need.
Especially for a store like Amazon, it should be easy enough for Canon to dispense with the extra 'pilfer proof' plastic.
