Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Team five-time world pizza-throwing champion Tony Gemignani with acclaimed cookbook author Diane Morgan and the result is a cookbook that will turn any home kitchen into the best pizzeria in town. There are over 60 selections on the menu, including the thick, rounded-edge crust of classic Neapolitan pizza Margherita, the thin crust New Yorkstyle Italian Sausage and Three Pepper Pizza, and the stick-to-your-ribs, deep-dish kind, smothered in spinach and mozzarella. There are also plenty of new-fangled pizzas: layered with Thai curry flavored chicken or pineapple; cooked on the grill; even quick and easy versions using storebought crust. Aficionados will find six pizza dough recipes ready to suit anyone's crust preferences. Tips for proper use of such related gear as peels, stones, tiles, pans, grills, and ovens make this a complete pizza package. And with step-by-step dough tossing instructions from Tony himself, it's clear: When it comes to pizzaPizza delivers.

1 out of 5 stars Bad Pizza   November 10, 2008

The Pizza is a dish that has evolved in Europe for over 2000 years. Examples of which can be found in , Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, and of course Italy. So Why, oh why ... do people have to make this uninformed cultural imperialistic book. I mean ...one chapter on Italian pizza and four on American.. Has the world gone mad?
Thai Pizza ??? Some research needed outside the USA I would say. A waste of money!

5 out of 5 stars Perfection!   November 2, 2008

I've been making pizza for a long long time, and this book was the first pizza book I've owned that changed the way I made pizza. If you are a purist, this is not the book. If you're looking to expand your horizons in terms of crust making and experimental pizzas, this is the book.

5 out of 5 stars I love this book!   October 28, 2008

I love this book. There is so much great stuff. I now make Pizza more than buy it and it is always better than bought pizzas. She demystified pizza and made it easy for me to make the crust and sauce. With what I learned form this book I am now confident enough to experiment, a lot, you can't ask more than that from a cookbook. If you love pizza, buy this book, a must have!

This is a well written, helpful, & lovely book. It's great to be able to make super pizzas the way you like 'em right at home. Use better quality ingredients, customize your pizza, & save money, too!!

Get a pizza stone, a pizza peel & you're all set!! Love the book!

5 out of 5 stars Delicious Home-made Pizza   July 24, 2008

We purchased this book with a gift certificate from our wedding and have loved it ever since! Included are recipes for the crust, the sauce, and many different types of pizza (white sauce, red sauce, chicken, veggie, etc.) I am not an advanced pizza dough tosser so creating restaurant style crust is more difficult than I thought it would be. This book is such a great buy that we purchased it as a wedding gift for someone else.
