Excellent Product January 8, 2009 Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son and his wife. They both loved it and recommend it to any busy family.

I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon- sue me- and since I don''t have a butler, I have to do it myself. So most nights before I go to bed I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman Grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious. It''s good for me. It's the perfect way to start the day. Today I got up, I stepped onto the grill and it clamped down on my foot. That''s it. I don't see what's so hard to believe about that.
These Grills Just Keep Getting Better December 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've owned several George Foreman grills over the years, and it's nice to see they keep making improvements.
One of the drawbacks was always that they weren't easy to clean. You couldn't put them in the dishwasher or wash in a sink without putting the whole unit there (not recommended). This has been fixed with the removable grilling plates. Most of the time I can just wipe off with a paper towel, but it's nice to be able to remove the plates for a thorough washing every so often. Now I feel freer to experiment with cooking other things, knowing I can thoroughly clean the grill. (Fish was especially messy with an older model.)
This model also has a nice big handle that sticks out so that you don't get burned by steam, which was a problem with one of the older ones I had.
I have not seen any problems with heating as others have reported. This one seems to heat up and cook just as well as the older models with non-removable plates. Maybe the manufacturer improved that after some people got their grill. I bought mine in December 2008.
The tray that catches grease for this model is much larger than our older grills had, so less chance of anything dripping on the counter.
Larger families may want another model with a bigger cooking surface, but for 1-3 people this is ideal.

This was a gift for my son in law. He has used a George Foreman grill for years, but this one has removable plates and makes clean up so much easier. He really likes it.
