I removed 12.5 Liter Personal Mini Fridge Cooler/Warmer from its box and plugged it into a wall outlet using the provided power supply. I placed inside in the window of the fridge a digital thermometer so I could see how cold it would get. I also placed inside a one liter bottle of soda which was at room temperature. I let the unit sit over night running. The next morning after 8 hours of operation, the thermometer read 67.5 degrees Fahrenheit. I let it run for the rest of the day. When I looked at the thermometer that evening after running 12 hours, thermometer read 70.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

"...20 degrees C below ambient temperature."

It must be noted that the advertisements says this fridge will cool to 20 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit below ambient. Since the room was 24.4 degrees Celsius or 76 degrees Fahrenheit, the fridge should have cooled down to at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit much less 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, the power supply seems to be under rated and it gets very hot, about 65 degrees Celsius or 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

This fridge uses a thermoelectric Pelletier type cooling element and these devices are known to stop working after long periods of continuous operation.

The scant instructions say very little about the fridge or its use.

Final Note. There is no thermostat or temperature control for cooling.
