Great retro value April 28, 2008
This microwave has been great for us. We've only had it for about three months but it has worked great for us in that time. I have read reviews about this microwave randomly dying for no apparent reason, this obviously has not happened to us. My mother owns the same microwave and she's had hers for over a year and it's working fine too.
I love the appearance of this microwave. I have an older home where everything is vintage (60's and 70's) and this microwave fits the decor. It is compact but I have had no problem fitting plates, bowls, things of the like it in. And for comparison, we are a family of four and often have 2-3 guests who stay over for extended periods.
This microwave has no problem heating foods. Pot pies, hot pockets, left overs are a cinch in this thing. In my experience, it has heated just as well as higher powered microwaves.
I'm a big fan of the defrost by weight AND time. Seems like defrost by time is a more difficult feature to find these days (maybe it's just me?).
I wouldn't pass up this deal for a quality microwave.
