 Beautiful and works great! December 29, 2008
This is a sturdy skillet. It has large rubber feet so it never moves unless you want it to. The lid fits perfectly- no rocking. It heats up fast and the temperature seems accurate. It is a great size for families. The whole thing (except the cord, of course) goes into the dishwasher, but most of the time you can clean it easily in the sink since nothing sticks to it. The stainless steel looks gorgeous too! I love making pancakes in mine. I have also used it on a buffet to serve in- the warm setting keeps everything at a perfect temperature.

Purchased after reading the other (positive??) reviews. Received this and found pan was warped, lid did not seal, metal was all scraped and dented and the original serial number was blacked out and another stamped beneath it. Caveat Emptor!! Wondering if this was not really a Cuisinart or if it was a return because it was found defective by someone else. What a pain in the wallet since I paid for one-day delivery too:-( It was shipped from Amazon - found no evidence of a middle-man in the shipping papers nor evidence of shipping damage when sent to us.
The most used applience in any kitchen December 13, 2008
This is the best family sized skillet at any price. It is designed well, looks good heats up really fast and provides even heat distribution. I always do my research first because I want the best. And I did as well when selecting a skillet. The reviews were favorable so I finally decided to buy the CSK-150. The skillet works very well cleans up quick and looks good. But don't expect the same high quality construction as the skillets costing 2 to 3 time as much. Don't get me wrong it looks like it will last for number of years when properly cared for. I believe that selecting this model was a smart choice. I wish Cuisinart also made the same product in roughly half the size. There are occasions when you just want to cook for 3 instead of 6. If I was to recommend one improvement I would make it about an inch deeper.
Great quality, easy to clean December 10, 2008
We've had so many nonstick electric skillets and finally have one that is of quality materials. My husband does all the cooking and really uses this skillet a lot. I do the cleanup and this is such a breeze to clean - 5 stars all the way.
The Best Out There December 6, 2008
I own this electric skillet and it is the best one out there, hands down. I have used electric skillets for years and years, have owned many sizes and brands. All the old ones, every one of them, all had the curse of non even cooking especially around the edges. Not on this Cuisinart, it cooks evenly and gets the foods closer to the edges cooked the same and in the same time frame, perfectly. This unit is hefty as well, not like the el cheapo Prestos and Rivals, etc. You know it's quality the second you get it out of the box. It's a bit spendy, BUT it out performs any other out there, and I think I've had them all. If it's an electric skillet you are after, SPLURGE and buy this one!!!!! You will LOVE it.
