Amazon.com Review Beat the inevitable wrinkling of clothes packed in your luggage with this nifty travel iron from Rowenta. Aptly named Latitude, this model features the power of steam and the versatility of a full-size iron in a scaled-down edition. With a sliding temperature control, the iron handles synthetics, wool, and cotton at the appropriate heat levels. Three steam options let you steam constantly or in bursts, or use the vertical delivery for hanging garments. Designed for effortless glide, Rowenta's stainless-steel soleplate is scratch resistant, with a mirror finish and an arc of dimples to reduce drag. The comfortable handle folds up for storage and locks into place for use, and the built-in water tank is easy to fill and empty. With true dual voltage, the iron works with 120- or 240-volt systems. Complete with its own durable nylon bag for travel, the little Latitude is well worth the extra space in your suitcase. --Emily Bedard

Rowenta Travel Iron December 26, 2008 It leaks! No matter what I tried to do it just leaks. Not a good product at all.
great quilting iron October 11, 2008 I bought this iron to keep by my sewing machine while quilting. It is lightweight and gets nice and hot. My regular iron is much heavier and I was starting to experience shoulder pain from rotating my arm around while sitting to grab the iron to press a quilting piece. I had tried one of those crafting irons (the one with the little triangular tip) but it was awkward and stopped working after two uses. I really like my new Rowenta iron!

Needed to return because cruise line would not permit use on board ship. Return process was excellent and as advertised.
Hot and compact May 9, 2008 I love this little iron especially for quilting. Its compact so it doesn't get in the way. I do a lot of applique and its perfect for ironing the small pieces to freezer paper. It also gets hot enough to fuse adhesives. The handle folds out of the way and the whole thing fits in a bag to carry to classes. I bought it to replace my Clover Craft iron which never got hot enough. I'm glad I did.
Rowenta DA-35 Latitude 35 Compact Iron May 4, 2008 This Iron is perfect for what I wanted it for. I needed a small steam iron. It has a folding handle and makes lots of steam. I highley recommend you buy this iron if you want a small and light steam iron. And the price is great. Buy it.
