 What a worthless piece of expensive junk! December 28, 2008
The $39 Lysol Steam Cleaner I have cleans better than this piece of junk that leaves streaks, is bulky and doesn't get corners or edges. I HATE IT and plan to send it back immediately.
 suction stops working about half way December 26, 2008
Started off great. floor was looking nice, about half way around the suction wasn't sucking good enough leaving a solution like look. wouldn't recommend!

This product goes a great job on hard floors. I have tiles in the kitchen and hard wood floors in other rooms. THis hard floor cleaner is easy to use and gets the floors very clean. It vacuums the dirty cleaning solution up very efficiently. Overall I would rate this an excellent product.

I have used an old hoover floor mate for years. Actually, used it until it broke. My new machine, the Hoover H3044 Floormate, is fabulous. It has a much wider cleaning head than my old machine and it seems to have more suction to pick up the dirty water. It also has a better system (large knob) to switch between cleaning with the brushes and vacuuming up the water on the floor. The only thing that isn't better than my old machine is the size of the cleaning solution tank. My old machine had a larger tank. Besides that small flaw, I am very satisfied with the performance and ease of use of this machine.
MR CLEAN'S FAVORITE TOY November 30, 2008
I own the Hoover FloorMate and it does an excellent job. Our floors have never been cleaner. The machine is extremely loud but scrubs your floors like nothing else can. The solution for the machine is on the exspensive side but I found that you can use any type of floor cleaner diluted in water and it works just as well. I recommend this little machine for viynl or tile floors but it will not work on hardwood floors.
