Amazon.com Review This discreet little digital clock/timer fits in the palm of a hand and gives users the choice of counting up or down in either minutes and seconds or hours and minutes. When the timer is not in use, the gadget operates as a digital clock, reporting the current time in hours and minutes. The LCD screen displays an easy-to-view 0.8-inch readout and the timer itself can mount to a magnetized surface, clip to clothing, or stand on a tabletop. The timer is simple to set and has easily-identifiable buttons for the clock, hours/minutes timer, and minutes/seconds timer. For longer counting tasks, such as all-day cooking of meat sauces or tracking intervals between taking medication, the hours/minutes timer counts up to 19 hours and 59 minutes. For meals with shorter cook times or timing at-home workouts, the minutes/seconds timer counts up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. The timer emits a beeping noise when set time has elapsed, which is easily turned off by pressing the Start/Stop button on the instrument's side. The Start/Stop button also pauses and resumes countdowns when pressed before countdown time is complete. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included) and Taylor ensures complete accuracy in its readings through a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Perfect and Intuitive Timer December 11, 2008 I love this timer. It is absolutely perfect for counting up or down to a specific time. It is utterly intuitive. I did not need to read the directions. I never forget how to use it.
Big numbers, loud sound August 25, 2008 The Taylor digital timer is all that it is cracked up to be. The numbers are large and the signal is loud. The only drawback for me is when I wear it I have accidentally hit the on/off switch and have turned off/on the timer. It would have been better to recess that switch. But I would not let this hinder you from purchasing this item at its great price.
Great Timer!!! June 9, 2008 It's a great little timer and clock combination. Very easy to use and set. Had some bonuses that I wasn't aware of, such as a spring clip and also a magnetic base. Well worth the price.
They shouldn't be allowed to advertise the magnet part March 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The timer, with battery, weighs more than the magnet can hold. The timer fell off the refridgerator and smashed onto the floor, apparently causing a rift in time as it is now counting only 1 second per millenium.
Disappointing after its trial run October 23, 2007 I agree with some of the other reviews. My main gripes about this product are: * beeps everytime you push a button * difficult to reset to zero without starting the "count up" timer * not very loud when it reaches the count-down to zero time * it keeps sliding to the bottom of my refrigerator door! Argh! PROS: * it was better than CATS (not much of a recommendation)
