Accidental Purchase of very good item January 7, 2009
I purchased these because they were priced extremely low and I thought they were silicone type spatulas. I have non stick pans and when I received these I was disappointed because they were metal. They are, however, VERY thin and pliable so, using an old fry pan, I gave them a try. I have been delighted. In six weeks I have zero scratches on my pans and they are so thin. I am thrilled with them.

I've had numerous Oxo products in the kitchen but never the spatula. This little guy does the job! Sharp leading edge slides under the cooking food with ease, especially eggs. Cleans up easy and doesn't crowd out the other utensils in the drawer. Can't quite explain it, but it has made me an expert at flippin'!
 Terrible - Food Sticks and Tip Melted December 6, 2008
I normally love Oxo products and will continue to buy them, but this product was terrible. It was no better than a super cheap turner. (In fact, I think those would be better!) The tip melted and is flaking off. After only a couple of uses, we can't even use it any more for fear of getting little pieces of plastic in our food. In addition, food sticks to it like crazy. We had to use an SOS pad to get the tip cleaned off. Save your money. I'd suggest trying the Amco or Silvermark Silicone turners. The Amco is a little heavy in the handle but it works great.

it's a little flimsy at the p/u end making heavier things a little bit of a hassle.But it doesn't scratch the no stick pan!

Gotcha!! This is a great product. Heat resistant and slim enough to slip under an egg, (flipping the egg is yet another matter). Flexible and the handle fits nicely in the palm. This is my second Oxo utensil purchase; would definately purchase additional Oxo products.
