Excellent product for price September 24, 2008 I was looking for a blender to make fruit smoothies & have the ability to crush ice at an affordable price. This product fit the criteria better than I had hoped. The only problem I have had is to get the blending started without pulsing numerous times if using frozen fruits. I would highly recommend this blender.
Can't replace o ring May 2, 2008 You can't the o ring if you tried. Trying to open the bottom is impossible. Save your time and buy an Oster. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Better get a grip... April 11, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R35QWCMISS4DJL MY explanation of why I wouldn't buy this blender.
Leaks too much March 13, 2008 Good strong casing, but the wave motion gimmick created by the shape accelerates the liquids too much, and in tandem with the relatively highly tuned speed settings, this blender frequently hits the lid with your blendings. The lid then sprays stuff out in various directions in thin, high speed streams. I would not recommend this blender although I have used other Hamilton Beach blenders with success, and I do so every day. This one just happens to suck because it is tuned to spin too fast, and then the lid can't even keep the contents from spraying out.
10 months later... July 14, 2007 loved this blender for the 10 months i had it ... then the cheap plastic bottom cracked and everything leaked out all over table. Now it's worthless because you can't replace teh canister. If you're looking for a blender that will last the whole year then this one is not for you.
