For quick and easy cleanup, the unit's crumb tray is removable. The oven comes with a useful broil grid for cooking versatility and a bake pan for cooking or warming biscuits, rolls, sandwiches, or leftovers. 4 out of 5 stars good value   September 7, 2008
I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews here. This is a great (and roomy) toaster oven, especially for a $25.00 price tag. Makes great toast and is great for warming up leftovers. The timer is easy to understand and use. It's a great value for the money.

1 out of 5 stars Too hot to handle   July 30, 2008

The back and top got so hot that they could not be touched, which worried me that overheating could occur if someone placed anything on top of the unit (a hot mitt or cookbook) or even pushed it against the wall too tightly. Because of concern for use by children and/or fire hazard, I had to return this item.

1 out of 5 stars Don't Buy it   June 15, 2008

This toaster is the worst I ever have bought.
The performance is terrible. Not worst the money.
It burns everything. Bad design.

The door has a large gap around it. When you open the door to remove food the handle is flush with the counter and there is no where to grasp it with out getting burned. Very poor design. I will be sending this machine to the dump on the next trip.

4 out of 5 stars Workable Value With Quirks   May 3, 2008

I got this to appease my wife's apparent insatiable desire for toast and "properly heated" pastries and such. :( We're both pleased with it, however, and it IS a value for money.

She wanted me to point out an inconsistency in its design: The upper temperature dial has a "toast" setting which when used with the toasting twist dial below it results in only the top element heating and resultantly, uneven toasting. The fix is simple, though: Just put the top dial on 350, then twist the toast dial. Voila!

The twist dial approach to controls means you have to force the dial back to zero if you want to switch off the element early, and this could be trouble down the line as far as wear and tear. Still solid here so far, though.

This last part may be nitpicky and irrelevant to some, but I wish it were dual voltage since I work abroad so often. I know, that would raise the price of a minor appliance, but doesn't that lack of an option speak to the industry's supposition of disposibility? I know, quality is intentionally sacrificed in all these sort of things so that folks will buy new ones every few years...but admittedly neither have I seen any problems pending with this oven so far after a few months of use.

For the price range a very recommended product!
