5 out of 5 stars just what we were looking for   December 1, 2008
Our old microwave was too large to fit in the space designated for a microwave in our kitchen remodel. Plus we'd gone to stainless steel appliances so this model fit right in. It is still large enough to take my biggest microwave cookware. It cooks quickly & the turntable is a definite plus.

We're very happy with it.

1 out of 5 stars Lasted 2 months   November 29, 2008
Good size microwave. Used very little but only lasted 2 months.
Will try to deliver to a Sharp service center and will report back.
Not so easy to figure out the controls. After 2 months it makes a noise and does not heat up the food.

5 out of 5 stars Great microwave   November 22, 2008
This is the perfect medium-size microwace. It has buttons for defrost, popcorn, melt, soften, warm and reheat. It is simple and easy to use. It is not too small and not too big and fits nicely in the space in my kitchen.

4 out of 5 stars Does what it's suppose to   November 22, 2008
I needed to replace my GE Overrange Microwave (which magnatron broke after only three yrs) and decided with so many bad reviews of the more expensive brands to go ahead and try the Sharp R-305KS. So far, so good! It fits my countertop and looks really nice. I find it easy to use. The only thing in comparison to the GE model is that it takes a little longer to cook food thoroughly and sometimes there are uneven areas (but I haven't used a microwave that cooks food perfectly even anyway). As long as this microwave outlasts my GE (which now serves as a breadbox) I'll be happy. I'll be happier anyway just because I didn't have to spend a fortune on this one!

1 out of 5 stars Junk me two times...   November 15, 2008
The first one from amazon, the door would not open. The internal opening mechenisim was broken. Sent it back to amazon, what a pain. Got a new one. It worked for a week, but not well. Weak power, strange noises. Then just stopped working. Too late to return to amazon. Must find a repair place, none very local. Don't buy things like this from amazon, buy from a local dept. store with a good return policy. Also, stay away from sharp. the old ones were great, new stuff is not...
